Loading Shovel Driver in Ormiston, East Lothian

As a Volvo Loading Shovel Driver you'll play a key role in keeping production running efficiently by safely moving heavy materials throughout the factory and yard areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Volvo Loading Shovel and associated plant equipment.
• Load, unload and transport heavy manterials across the site.
• Maintain a consistent supply of materials to support production.
• Complete daily machine inspections and report any defects.
• Assist with loading and unloading vehicles.
• Maintain excellent housekeeping and health & safety standards.

What We Are Looking For

• Previous experience operating a Volvo Loading Shovel or similar heavy plant machinery.
• A valid Loading Shovel or Plant Operator ticket (or equivalent).
• Experience within a sawmill, quarry, recycling, construction or other heavy industrial environment.
• A strong awareness of health and safety.

Experience operating other plant machinery such as forklifts, telehandlers or tractors would be advantageous but isn't essential.
