My client are a national civil engineering contractor who are currently seeking a Site Manager to help deliver projects across United Utilities (UU) schemes. The successful candidate must have previous water industry experience and a strong civil engineering background.
Site Manager Responsibilities:
- Managing day-to-day site operations
- Supervising site teams and subcontractors
- Overseeing the delivery of water infrastructure works
- Client liaison with United Utilities
- Toolbox talks
- Health and safety compliance
- Managing RAMS, permits and site documentation
- Coordinating labour, plant and materials
- Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to specification
- Monitoring quality and maintaining site records
- Reporting progress to the Project Manager
Site Manager Requirements:
- Black or Gold CSCS
- SMSTS
- Previous experience working on United Utilities schemes is essential
- Previous water treatment or water infrastructure experience
- Strong civil engineering background
- Experience managing subcontractors and site teams
- Good understanding of RAMS, health and safety and quality requirements
- IT literate
- Full UK driving licence
