Class 2 Driver in Harlow, Essex

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and professional Class 2 HGV Driver 

The successful candidates will be responsible for carrying out deliveries and collections safely and efficiently, while providing a high level of customer service. You will be representing the company on the road, so a professional attitude and excellent driving standards are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class 2 HGV in accordance with all legal and company requirements.
• Complete deliveries and collections on time and efficiently.
• Carry out vehicle checks before and after journeys.
• Ensure loads are secure and transported safely.
• Complete delivery paperwork and other required documentation accurately.
• Liaise professionally with customers, site teams and colleagues.
• Report any vehicle defects, incidents or issues promptly.
• Maintain a clean and professional vehicle.
• Follow all relevant driving, health & safety and company procedures.

About You

The successful candidate will have:

• A valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
• A valid Driver CPC qualification.
• A valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous HGV Class 2 driving experience.
• A good understanding of drivers' hours and tachograph regulations.
• A strong commitment to health and safety.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• A reliable, professional and responsible approach to work.
• The ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules effectively.
