HGV Class 2 Night Driver – Radials - Normanton
£15.72 per hour | Monday–Friday | Temp to Perm | Immediate Start

Pertemps are currently recruiting an experienced HGV Class 2 (Category C) Night Driver for a well-known and established company in Normanton, offering a temp-to-perm opportunity for the right candidate.

This is a Monday to Friday night role, delivering primarily caged automotive stock and parts to dealership and trade sites across Yorkshire and Humberside.

Job Details
  • HGV Class 2 (Category C) night driving role

  • Monday to Friday – 48-hour contracted week

  • Usual start time: 23:00

  • Finish times typically between 06:00 and 08:00, depending on the route

  • Drivers will generally finish Saturday morning following the Friday night shift

  • No Bank Holiday working

  • Primarily cage deliveries, with some pallets and loose items

  • Drivers will have an assigned vehicle

  • Drivers will rotate week on/week off across three routes

  • The three routes consist of long, medium and short runs, ensuring drivers receive a fair balance of working hours

  • Routes cover areas across Bradford, Leeds, Grimsby, Hull, Huddersfield, Wakefield, Barnsley and Rotherham

Pay & Benefits
  • £15.72 per hour

  • Monday to Friday only

  • 48-hour contracted working week

  • No Bank Holiday working

  • 25 days annual leave (January–December)

  • Temp-to-perm for the right candidate

Requirements
  • Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) license - 6 Months experience minimum

  • Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card

  • Reliable, professional and efficient approach

  • Comfortable with manual handling and cage deliveries

  • Good knowledge of road networks across Yorkshire and Humberside

  • Able to work independently and complete routes efficiently
