Tradewind Recruitment are currently working with a friendly primary school in Daventry who are looking to appoint a passionate Class Teacher to join their team. The school is open to candidates who can start immediately or from January 2027.

This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher who enjoys creating engaging learning experiences, building positive relationships with pupils and helping children develop both academically and personally.

The role is available on a temporary, long-term basis, with the potential to become temp-to-perm for the right candidate. Both full-time and part-time applications will be considered.

• Plan and deliver creative, engaging and well-structured lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
• Create a positive and stimulating classroom environment where pupils feel confident and supported.
• Encourage pupils to develop independence, resilience and a positive attitude towards learning.
• Assess and monitor pupil progress, adapting teaching to support individual needs.
• Differentiate lessons to ensure all pupils are appropriately supported and challenged.
• Promote high standards of behaviour and maintain effective classroom routines.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
• Work closely with teaching assistants and other staff to support pupil development.
• Contribute to school activities and the wider school community.

We are keen to hear from teachers who:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Have experience working within a UK primary school.
• Have a good understanding of the Primary National Curriculum.
• Are confident delivering high-quality teaching and learning.
• Have strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Can adapt their teaching to meet the needs of different learners.
• Are approachable, enthusiastic and committed to pupil progress.
• Work well independently and as part of a wider team.
• Have a genuine passion for helping children reach their full potential.
