Science Teacher in Birmingham, West Midlands

We are seeking an enthusiastic, committed and passionate Teacher of Science to join our team. The successful candidate will teach Science across Key Stage 3, with some Key Stage 4 teaching, including Year 10 Biology on their timetable.

We are looking for a dedicated practitioner who can deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that inspire curiosity, develop scientific understanding and encourage a love of learning. The ability to make Science accessible, enjoyable and challenging for students of all abilities is essential.

The successful candidate will:

• Teach engaging and effective Science lessons across Key Stage 3.

• Deliver Year 10 Biology lessons as part of their teaching timetable.

• Plan and assess learning to ensure students make good progress.

• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students are motivated to achieve their best.

• Contribute positively to the wider Science department and school community.

• Demonstrate a commitment to raising achievement and maintaining high expectations of all students.

The position is offered on a fixed-term basis until July 2027, with the possibility of a permanent contract for the right candidate.
