Our client, a reputable and long-established independent specialist in Nottingham, is seeking an experienced Classic Car Technician to join their skilled workshop team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a passionate professional to work on vintage, classic, and modern Rolls-Royce and Bentley vehicles, providing restoration, maintenance, and repair services to the highest standards.

Duties of a Classic Car Technician:
  • Servicing, maintenance, and repairs to exacting standards
  • Rebuilding engines and major mechanical components
  • Performing suspension and brake overhauls
  • Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults accurately as a Classic Car Technician
  • Using modern diagnostic equipment along with technical manuals
  • Working efficiently on both vintage and contemporary luxury vehicles
  • Completing detailed job cards, timesheets, and workshop documentation
  • Ensuring high-quality workmanship within set timeframes
Requirements of a Classic Car Technician:
  • NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as a qualified Vehicle Technician
  • Proven experience in engine rebuilding and mechanical assembly
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities
  • Basic engineering knowledge
  • Electrical diagnostics experience is desirable
  • Genuine interest in vintage, classic, and modern vehicles
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Own tools
  • Full UK Driving Licence with no endorsements
