Cleaner

A local manufacturing company in Haverhill is seeking a reliable Cleaner to join their team on a temporary ongoing basis. This is a hands-on role involving general cleaning duties across the site, including offices and shopfloor areas. The role will also involve regular heavy lifting and manual handling, so candidates must be physically fit and comfortable with this type of work.

Pay & Hours:

• £12.71 p/hour
• Monday to Friday, 5 hours per day, with flexibility around which days are worked
• 25 hours per week

Cleaner Duties:

• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors across offices and production areas
• Clean work surfaces, desks, and communal areas
• Empty bins and manage waste disposal
• Maintain toilets, washrooms, and kitchen areas
• Carry out general cleaning and housekeeping duties across the site
• Move and lift items as required
• Follow site health & safety procedures

Skills & Requirements:

• Previous cleaning experience preferred but not essential
• Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting and manual handling
• Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently
• Good attention to detail and pride in maintaining a tidy workspace
• Comfortable working within a busy manufacturing environment
