Cleaning Supervisor

Canterbury Permanent Monday – Friday | 3:30pm – 7:30pm £16.00 per hour

We are currently looking for a hands-on Cleaning Supervisor to join our team on a permanent basis, overseeing cleaning operations at a busy secondary education site in Canterbury.

This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced cleaner looking to step into a supervisory role, or an existing supervisor seeking a stable part-time position with a supportive employer.

Duties Include:

• Supervising and supporting a team of cleaners to ensure high standards are maintained
• Carrying out cleaning duties alongside the team when required
• Completing regular quality checks and ensuring all areas are cleaned to specification
• Managing stock levels and ensuring cleaning materials are used safely and correctly
• Reporting any issues or maintenance concerns promptly
• Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed at all times
• Assisting with training and supporting team members where needed

Requirements:

• Previous commercial cleaning experience
• Supervisory experience within cleaning or facilities would be advantageous
• Reliable, organised and able to lead by example
• Good communication skills and a strong eye for detail
• Knowledge of COSHH and health & safety procedures preferred
• Enhanced DBS desirable, although this can be arranged for the successful candidate
