An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Client Account Executive to join a well-established business based in Hereford.
This is a varied role where you’ll take ownership of client accounts and jobs from initial enquiry through to successful completion, building strong customer relationships and ensuring work is delivered efficiently and to a high standard.
You’ll work closely with customers, engineers and internal teams, managing quotations, coordinating works, scheduling engineers and keeping clients updated throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of client accounts and build strong customer relationships
- Act as the main point of contact for clients throughout the duration of works
- Take ownership of jobs from initial enquiry through to completion
- Manage customer enquiries and provide a professional, responsive service
- Prepare and issue quotations and follow these through to approval
- Coordinate reactive, planned and maintenance works
- Manage customer expectations and provide regular progress updates
- Ensure agreed timescales and deadlines are achieved
- Coordinate engineers and manage their schedules effectively
- Allocate resources to ensure works are completed efficiently
- Liaise with customers, engineers and internal teams on a daily basis
- Arrange and attend client meetings and site visits where required
- Travel nationally to attend customer meetings and sites when necessary
- Monitor job progress and keep clients informed
- Deal with issues and queries, providing practical and professional solutions
- Maintain accurate customer and project records
- Manage multiple jobs and priorities simultaneously
- Develop and maintain long-term client relationships
- Take ownership of your workload and contribute to improving the customer experience
About You
- Experience in a client account, customer service, contract management, project coordination or similar role
- Previous technical or engineering experience would be advantageous
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Confident and professional when dealing with customers at all levels
- Highly organised with strong time-management skills
- Proactive, reliable and able to work independently
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to take ownership
- A genuine desire to develop and progress your career
The Package
- Full-time, permanent position
- Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm / 5:00pm
