An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Client Co-ordinator/Receptionist to join a dynamic and forward-thinking company based in North Cambridge. This is a varied, customer-facing role combining reception, client services, events, sales support and administration.
The role would be particularly well suited to someone with a background in hotel reception, front of house or a similar client-facing environment, who is used to delivering excellent service, managing bookings and dealing confidently with a wide variety of client requests.
Key Responsibilities for the Client Co-ordinator/Receptionist role:
- Provide a warm, professional welcome to clients and visitors and ensure an excellent first impression.
- Act as a key point of contact for clients, responding to queries and resolving day-to-day issues.
- Handle initial sales enquiries, arrange and conduct viewings and identify opportunities to generate additional revenue.
- Coordinate meeting room bookings, set-ups and invoicing, ensuring rooms and reception areas are always presented to a high standard.
- Work with external event organisers to coordinate bookings and ensure events run successfully.
- Act as the on-site representative during corporate evening events, dealing confidently with any issues that may arise.
- Assist with general centre administration, including CRM updates, client records, invoicing, post, access cards and stock management.
- Support the Centre Manager and provide cover during periods of holiday or sickness.
- Help create a welcoming community within the centre by supporting client activities and events.
- Maintain high standards of customer service, organisation and compliance with company procedures.
- Previous experience within hotel reception, front of house or reception would be ideal.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, confident and professional approach.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills with the ability to manage several priorities at once.
- Comfortable handling bookings, enquiries and client requests.
- Able to deal calmly and professionally with complaints or issues as they arise.
- Confident working independently, using initiative and taking responsibility when required.
- Flexible and adaptable with the ability to work well under pressure.
- Comfortable with the sales element of the role, including responding to enquiries and conducting viewings.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Experience of sales, marketing, events, conferencing or a business centre environment would be advantageous.
- A genuine interest in technology would be beneficial as this is a tech-focused workplace.
- Basic salary of £29,500 pa
- Standard hours: 8.30am - 5.00pm
- One evening per week until approximately 9pm when corporate events are taking place
