Flexible working arrangements considered
Stone Tide Recruitment is working with an established UK healthcare technology business looking to appoint a Clinical Product Manager to help shape and develop software used across healthcare organisations.
This role would suit someone who understands healthcare environments first-hand and is interested in combining that knowledge with technology, product development and digital transformation.
You may already work within HealthTech or product, or you could be a clinically experienced healthcare professional looking to move into a more technology-focused career.
The Role
You will work between customers, internal stakeholders and software development teams, helping turn real healthcare challenges into practical technology improvements.
Your responsibilities will include:
Gathering requirements from healthcare users and stakeholders.
Understanding operational and clinical challenges and translating them into clear product requirements.
Helping prioritise improvements and new functionality.
Working closely with software development teams throughout the development lifecycle.
Supporting testing and validation of new functionality.
Reviewing new features from an end-user and healthcare perspective.
Contributing to product planning and future development priorities.
Supporting customer discussions around product improvements.
Helping ensure solutions are practical, intuitive and appropriate for healthcare environments.
Communicating requirements, priorities and progress clearly across technical and non-technical teams.
Acting as a credible healthcare voice within the wider product function.
What We Are Looking For
You should have strong knowledge of healthcare environments gained through professional experience.
This could come from:
A clinical background.
NHS operational experience.
Digital Health or HealthTech.
Healthcare software.
Product, implementation or transformation roles within healthcare.
You will need:
Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
The ability to understand complex requirements and explain them clearly.
Confidence working with both technical and non-technical people.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
An interest in improving healthcare through technology.
The ability to manage competing priorities and make sensible decisions.
Product Experience
Previous formal Product Management experience would be advantageous, but it is not necessarily essential.
The employer is particularly interested in people who understand healthcare properly and can demonstrate the ability to:
Identify user problems.
Ask good questions.
Understand workflows.
Translate requirements.
Challenge assumptions.
Work effectively with technology teams.
Experience with software development processes, product ownership, software testing, implementation or digital transformation would all be relevant.
Who Could This Suit?
This opportunity could be relevant to:
-
Doctors or other clinicians interested in healthcare technology.
-
Healthcare professionals already involved in digital transformation.
-
Digital Health professionals looking to move further into product.
-
Healthcare software implementation specialists.
-
Product professionals with strong NHS or healthcare experience.
-
Clinical informatics professionals.
You do not need to come from one specific career path.
The key is being able to combine healthcare understanding, strong communication and an interest in building better technology.
Why Consider It?
This is an opportunity to move into a role where your healthcare knowledge can directly influence the development of technology used by healthcare organisations.
You will gain exposure to product development, customer requirements, software delivery and digital healthcare while working closely with experienced technical and commercial teams.
For someone coming from a clinical or operational healthcare background, it offers a credible route into the growing HealthTech sector.
