The Role

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Clinical Safety Officer to join our growing healthcare software business.

  • Develop, maintain and review clinical safety documentation, including hazard logs and clinical safety cases.
  • Assess clinical risks associated with digital healthcare solutions and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Support the implementation and ongoing improvement of digital systems and services.
  • Collaborate with NHS stakeholders, customers and internal teams to ensure safe and effective deployment of solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant clinical safety standards and best practice guidance.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Current registration with an appropriate professional body.
  • At least two years' experience working within the digital health sector, either within the NHS or a healthcare software supplier.
  • Experience of clinical safety and risk management in health IT environments.
  • Knowledge and practical experience of hazard logs, clinical safety cases and clinical risk assessment processes.
  • Experience working with NHS organisations and managing key stakeholder relationships.
  • Excellent analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
  • A proactive and collaborative approach to delivering high-quality outcomes.
