Cloud Engineer in Broad Street, Greater London

We’re working with a growing technology business looking for an experienced Cloud Engineer to join its infrastructure team in a fully remote position. Alongside the salary, the role comes with an excellent benefits package, including an annual performance bonus of up to 10%.

This is a hands-on role working within a predominantly Microsoft Azure environment, supporting business-critical production systems and helping improve the reliability, scalability and performance of the platform.

The main technologies they’re looking for are Azure, Kubernetes, Linux and MongoDB, alongside a wider background across cloud infrastructure, automation, monitoring and production support.

Responsibilities:

• Managing, maintaining and improving Azure cloud infrastructure
• Supporting Kubernetes / AKS and containerised environments
• Working across Linux production systems
• Supporting environments using MongoDB / NoSQL
• Monitoring infrastructure performance, availability and capacity
• Troubleshooting complex cloud and infrastructure issues
• Supporting incidents and carrying out root-cause analysis
• Managing upgrades, patching and security updates
• Using automation and Infrastructure as Code to improve environments
• Working closely with development and wider technical teams
