CNC Machine Shop Technician
  • Location: Cambridge
  • Salary: 35k-45k
Shift Pattern:
  1. Shift 1: Mon-Thurs (6am-2pm and 1pm on Friday)
  2. Shift 2: Mon-Thurs (2pm-10pm)  / 1pm-7pm on Friday
This is a fantastic opportunity for CNC specialists to join a British owned company with over a century of experience behind them. With a strong reputation within the hi-precision field of engineering technology, you’ll be working out of a state-of-the-art manufacturing HQ in Cambridge, which houses a range of manufacturing, production and R&D talent.  

Role Overview

Working within a team of CNC engineers, you will program, set and operate turning and milling machinery (mazak and citizen lathes, as well as matsura mills). You’ll need to be able to optimise processes, with a strong focus on precision, quality and continuous improvement.  

What are we looking for?
  • CNC machinery background with ability to learn and grow
  • Milling and or turning experience with an understanding of tight tolerances, able to read drawings and understand tools
  • Programming experience – nice to have
