CNC Machinist – Milling & Turning
We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machinery, producing high-quality precision components, and working to engineering drawings and specifications in a safe and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC machines
- Manufacture components to engineering drawings and specifications
- Ensure components are produced to the required quality standards
- Carry out self-inspection using measuring equipment
- Maintain a safe and organised working environment
- Work efficiently to meet production deadlines
- Adhere to company quality and HSE procedures at all times
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience operating CNC machines
- Engineering Apprenticeship or equivalent qualification
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Self-motivated with a positive, team-focused attitude
- Excellent timekeeping and attendance
Desirable:
- Experience within the Oil & Gas or heavy engineering sectors
- Knowledge of both CNC milling and turning operations
- Experience with Fanuc and/or Mazatrol controls
