Pertemps are recruiting for motivated and ambitious individuals to join a reputable manufacturing employer in Witton as a CNC Machinist.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with machining or manufacturing experience, or a keen interest in engineering, to develop their skills working with specialist machinery and titanium products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and set machinery, including CNC machines, lathes, millers and saws.
- Inspect products and complete quality and production records.
- Carry out routine machine checks and basic troubleshooting.
- Handle materials using cranes, forklift trucks and slinging equipment, with training provided.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Someone self-motivated, ambitious and keen to develop.
- Good attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.
- Previous machining or manufacturing experience is beneficial but not essential.
- £13 per hour initially.
- From week 13, post-parity rates range from approximately £22–£25 per hour, subject to applicable rates and successful completion of training and sign-off.
- Training provided on machinery and material-handling equipment.
- Shifts: 4 on, 4 off | 7am–7pm
