What you'll be doing
You'll be responsible for setting and programming CNC mill/turn machines, producing precision components to engineering drawings and the required specification.
The role will involve:
- Setting CNC mill/turn machines
- Programming using Mazak controls
- Reading and working from engineering drawings
- Setting tooling, offsets and machine parameters
- Producing components accurately and consistently
- Making adjustments during production where required
- Working as part of an experienced manufacturing team
What we're looking for
We're looking for someone with previous experience working as a CNC Mill/Turner, particularly someone who can take responsibility for both setting and programming.
You'll ideally have:
- Previous CNC mill/turn experience
- Experience setting CNC machines
- CNC programming experience
- Mazak controls experience
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- A methodical approach to producing precision components
- Experience working within a manufacturing or precision engineering environment
