What you'll be doing
You'll be setting and programming CNC turning machines, working from engineering drawings and producing accurate aerospace components.
The role will involve:
- Setting CNC lathes
- Programming using Fanuc controls
- Reading and working from engineering drawings
- Setting tooling and offsets
- Producing components to tight tolerances
- Making programme and offset adjustments where required
- Checking work throughout production to make sure components meet specification
What we're looking for
We're looking for CNC Turners who can set and program, with experience working with Fanuc-controlled machines.
You'll need:
- Previous experience as a CNC Turner
- CNC setting experience
- CNC programming experience
- Fanuc controls experience
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Experience producing components to tight tolerances
- A good understanding of CNC turning processes
