Job Description:
Job roll is for a VMC Machinist, Programmer ,setter who has experience using ,Heidenhain or siemens also to have knowledge about programming ,reading and understanding drawings and models using 3-4 axis and 3+2 machines using One CNC
The candidate will be responsible for machining components to a high level of quality in accordance with our customers’ specifications .
The shop floor can be a fast paced environment with a lot of different jobs going on at once ,we operate as fast turn around business
components up to 5m and 10ton in weight
The key responsibilities
- Using measuring equipment
- Programming and Setting CNC milling machines
- General engineering work.
- Knowledge of cutters to be used
- knowledge of different materials
- Ability to read technical drawings
- keeping machine and area tidy
- working to tolerances
- Heidenhain or siemens
- Using One CNC
The Person
The key skills and qualities of a Machinist include:
- Experience in CNC Milling, general engineering work
- Conscientious, hardworking and self-motivated.
- Strong communication skills.
- Positive attitude towards the different aspects of the role.
- 8 or more years experience
- Heidenhain and siemens
- One CNC knowledge
Shifts - 4 on 4 off - 07:30-18:00
