CNC Miller Programmer

Location: Nuneaton
Commutable from: Coventry, Hinckley, Bedworth, and Leicester
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 7:00am-4:30pm; Friday, 7:00am-1:00pm

Our client is an established aerospace manufacturer specialising in the production of high-precision components. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced CNC Miller Programmer to join their manufacturing team.

You will be responsible for offline programming CNC milling machines, producing high-precision aerospace components to engineering drawings and specifications.

• Create and edit CNC milling programmes using OneCNC or Fusion 360
• Programme offline from engineering drawings and 3D models
• Develop efficient machining strategies and optimise programmes
• Select appropriate tooling, cutting speeds and feeds
• Work to tight tolerances and aerospace quality standards
• Support production with programme development and improvements
• Identify opportunities to improve cycle times and machining efficiency
• Work closely with the production and engineering teams

• Proven experience as a CNC Miller Programmer
• Strong offline programming experience is essential
• Experience using OneCNC or Fusion 360 is essential
• Confident reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Strong knowledge of CNC milling, tooling, speeds and feeds
• Experience working to tight tolerances
• Aerospace or precision engineering experience would be advantageous
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
