We are recruiting for an experienced CNC Miller to join an established precision engineering business supporting demanding sectors including automotive, motorsport and advanced manufacturing.
The Role
- Programming, setting and operating 3 and 4 axis CNC milling machines
- Online programming using HEIDENHAIN controls
- Offline programming using CAM software
- Producing precision components to tight tolerances
- Selecting tooling, fixtures and cutting strategies
- Reading engineering drawings and CAD models
- Inspecting own work and carrying out dimensional check
- Supporting improvements to machining processes
About You
- Proven CNC Milling experience
- Confident programming, setting and operating independently
- Experience working to tight tolerances
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings
- High attention to detail and quality
- HEIDENHAIN experience desirable
- Experience with XYZ, Bridgeport or VISI desirable
- Precision engineering, motorsport, automotive or tooling experience desirable
