CNC Setter/Operator

Key Responsibilities
- Set and operate CNC lathes safely and efficiently.
- Manufacture precision parts and components to customer drawings and specifications.
- Read, understand and interpret engineering drawings.
- Use appropriate measuring equipment to ensure components meet required tolerances.
- Carry out in-process quality checks and inspections.
- Make machine adjustments where necessary to maintain product quality.
- Operate multiple machines where required.
- Work closely with the production and quality teams to ensure jobs are completed correctly and on time.
Required Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in CNC setting and operating is essential.
- Previous experience within the manufacturing or precision engineering industry is highly desirable.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
- Confident using measuring and inspection equipment.
- Good understanding of quality requirements and working to tight tolerances.
Hours & Pay
39 hours per week and 07:00am - 16:00pm and 07:00am-12:30pm Fridays.
The pay rate for this position is between £13.50 per hour and £17.00 per hour dependant on experience and skillset.
