CNC Turner Programmer / Setter / Operator

Location: Crewe

Hours: 40 hours per week, Days Role
Salary: £32,000 - £38,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Actio Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Turner Programmer / Setter / Operator on behalf of a well-established precision engineering company in the Crewe area.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and motivated machinist to join a busy manufacturing team producing high-quality components for a diverse range of industries. The varied nature of the work means you'll be involved in a wide range of projects, making this a challenging and rewarding role.

Key Responsibilities

• Programming, setting and operating CNC turning machines
• Manufacturing precision-engineered components to customer specifications
• Working from engineering drawings and technical documentation
• Carrying out first-off and in-process inspections
• Maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy
• Ensuring machines and work areas are kept clean and safe

The Ideal Candidate

• Time-served CNC Turner
• Proven experience programming, setting and operating CNC lathes
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

What's on Offer?

• £32,000 - £38,000 per annum, dependent on experience
