CNC Setter / Operator (Turning)
Location: Southend-on-Sea, Essex
Salary: £16.00 - £20.00 per hour (DOE)
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm
Job Type: Permanent

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established precision engineering company in Southend-on-Sea for an experienced CNC Setter / Operator to join their growing team.

The Role

• Setting and operating CNC turning machines
• Working on both fixed head and sliding head lathes
• Producing high-quality precision components
• Reading and working from engineering drawings
• Carrying out quality checks using measuring equipment
• Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment

Requirements

• Previous experience setting and operating CNC turning machines
• Experience with both fixed head and sliding head machines
• Ability to read engineering drawings
• Confident using measuring equipment such as micrometers and verniers
• Reliable with a positive attitude and strong attention to detail
