A leading precision engineering manufacturer is looking for an experienced CNC Turning Team Leader to join its growing production team.
This is a hands-on leadership role for a CNC Turning Team Leader where you'll support the Production Manager in delivering the production schedule, leading a team of CNC machinists, and driving quality, productivity and continuous improvement across the department.
- Lead and support the CNC Turning team on a daily basis.
- Ensure production targets and customer delivery dates are achieved.
- Monitor workflow and help resolve production issues.
- Promote health & safety, quality and company standards.
- Support Lean Manufacturing initiatives including 6S and Root Cause Analysis.
- Assist with training, performance reviews and team development.
- Work closely with Production and Quality teams to drive continuous improvement.
About You
- Previous CNC Turning experience.
- Team Leader or Supervisory experience within manufacturing.
- Strong technical knowledge of CNC machining.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Positive, hands-on approach with a focus on quality and teamwork.
