The Opportunity

Your first year will give you a broad understanding of how a successful B2B business operates. You'll spend time getting to know different areas of the company, building your product and industry knowledge and developing your customer-facing skills. As you progress, the focus will increasingly move towards sales, account management and business development.

You'll have the opportunity to:

• Gain experience across operations, warehouse, logistics, supply chain, administration and marketing
• Develop detailed knowledge of the electrical wholesale industry and product range
• Work directly with trade customers, including electricians, contractors and tradespeople
• Build your confidence in sales, communication and relationship management
• Gain experience in internal sales and account management
• Learn how to identify opportunities, develop accounts and win new business
• Receive ongoing training, mentoring and guidance as you develop your skills

Your Progression Path

As you build your knowledge and experience, you'll have the opportunity to progress into a B2B field sales and business development role.

This will involve managing your own customer portfolio, travelling to meet and socialise with clients, developing new business and building long-term commercial relationships.
