Commercial Coordinator

A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Commercial Coordinator to join a prestigious manufacturing business within their busy Estimating team. This Commercial Coordinator role would suit someone who is driven, hardworking and keen to develop a long-term career within a commercial environment.

You don't necessarily need previous Buying or Supply Chain experience. We're looking for someone with the right attitude, commercial mindset and motivation to succeed. Whether you have experience in Buying, Procurement, Supply Chain, Sales Support, Customer Service, Administration or another commercially focused environment, we'd LOVE to hear from you.

What will you be doing as a Commercial Coordinator?

• Liaising between suppliers and the Sales team to meet customer requirements
• Pricing products and responding to customer requests within agreed margins and timescales
• Working with suppliers to obtain competitive pricing and negotiate costs
• Reviewing product selling prices to ensure they remain commercially competitive
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and internal teams
• Identifying opportunities to deliver cost savings
• Supporting buying, sourcing and purchasing activity
• Developing processes and systems to calculate costs and margins
• Maintaining accurate product, pricing and supplier information
• Producing, reviewing and updating product review schedules
• Working closely with the Estimating and Sales teams
• Managing and prioritising your own workload to meet deadlines
• Supporting continuous improvement across commercial processes

We would LOVE to hear from you if you have the following skills and experience:

• Previous experience in Buying, Procurement, Supply Chain, Sourcing, Estimating, Sales Support, Customer Service or Administration would be advantageous
• Commercially minded with a genuine desire to build a career
• Ambitious, hungry to succeed and keen to learn
• Confident dealing with suppliers, customers and internal teams
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Good negotiation and influencing skills
• Organised with excellent attention to detail
• Logical and methodical with a proactive approach
• Comfortable working to tight deadlines and managing your own workload
• Confident using IT and learning new systems
• Able to use initiative and make decisions while knowing when to ask questions
• Positive, hardworking and forward-thinking
• Recent graduates with knowledge of Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Economics or a similar subject are also encouraged to apply
