A long-established, multi-service organisation is seeking a Commercial Director to lead commercial performance across several divisions, strengthen client relationships, and drive continued growth. This senior role combines strategic leadership with hands-on commercial delivery in a fast-paced environment.
The Role
- Integrate quickly into the team and organisational culture
- Build strong relationships with existing and prospective clients
- Lead commercial strategy, pricing, margin review, and cost control
- Review and approve tenders prior to submission
- Conduct competitor and market analysis to identify opportunities
- Drive cross-selling across multiple service lines
- Support marketing activity, including social media and web presence
- Contribute to board-level discussions and strategic planning
- Coach, mentor, and develop managers into effective leaders
- Produce and present commercial and performance reports
- Monitor supplier, client, and subcontractor performance
- Identify and secure new business opportunities through networks, digital channels, and referrals
About You
- Energetic, proactive, and commercially astute
- Strong communicator with proven leadership capability
- Comfortable working strategically and operationally
- Background in construction, new build housing, flooring, interiors, or cleaning services desirable
- Strong financial/commercial understanding essential
