Commercial Performance Executive

HC-One Limited

Help drive commercial success that enables outstanding care.

Joining us means becoming part of a forward-looking care organisation with a strong, long-term commitment to the success of every home. Supported by substantial, planned investment, we provide the resources and stability needed to deliver high-quality, sustainable care while nurturing thriving communities. This is a full-time, office-based role based at our Support Office in Darlington, working 40 hours per week and offering the opportunity to work closely with colleagues across the organisation to support homes nationwide.

Residents, families and colleagues are at the heart of everything we do. We believe in building trusted relationships, continuously improving the way we work, and creating environments where people feel supported to grow and succeed.

As a Commercial Performance Executive, you'll play a key role at the heart of our Commercial & Growth Directorate. Supporting a wide range of commercial activity, you'll help improve occupancy performance, strengthen commercial capability across our homes and provide the insight, coordination and resources that enable our teams to make informed decisions and deliver exceptional results.

About the role

This is a varied and collaborative role supporting colleagues across commercial operations, marketing, commercial finance, contracts and commissioning, and sales enablement. Working closely with the Commercial Manager and wider Commercial & Growth Directorate, you'll help turn data into meaningful insight, coordinate key commercial initiatives and ensure the right tools, reporting and processes are in place to support occupancy growth.

You'll monitor performance data, identify trends and opportunities, maintain reporting dashboards and support commercial planning across the Group. You'll also play an important role in embedding our Sales Excellence Framework, coordinating training, maintaining resources and helping Home Managers build confidence in enquiry management, admissions and conversion best practice.

Alongside supporting marketing campaigns, commercial events and referral activity, you'll help prepare business cases, presentations and performance reports while acting as a central point of coordination between commercial, operational and support teams. This is an excellent opportunity to gain broad commercial experience and develop a strong understanding of how commercial strategy supports operational performance across a national care organisation.

About you

You'll be highly organised, naturally curious and enjoy working with data to understand what drives performance. Comfortable managing a varied workload, you'll be equally confident analysing information, coordinating projects and building positive working relationships with colleagues across different functions.

You'll bring excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Whether you're producing reports, supporting commercial initiatives or coordinating activity across multiple teams, you'll take pride in delivering high-quality work that makes a real difference.

We're looking for someone with a genuine interest in developing a career in commercial performance, who enjoys learning, embraces new challenges and is motivated by improving outcomes for residents, colleagues and the wider business.

What you'll bring

Essential

  • Experience in a commercial, sales support, marketing, data analysis, business support or administrative role, or transferable experience demonstrating strong commercial potential.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience producing reports, dashboards or presentations that translate data into meaningful insight.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with confidence working across a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
  • A proactive, collaborative approach with a genuine interest in commercial performance and continuous improvement.

Desirable

  • Experience using CRM systems, digital marketing tools or business intelligence platforms.
  • Experience within a multi-site organisation or the health and social care sector.
  • A qualification in business, marketing, data or a related discipline.
  • An interest in sales enablement, commercial capability development or performance improvement.
