What You'll Be Doing:

  • Lead the site's internal audit programme, ensuring full compliance with BRCGS, retailer Codes of Practice, food safety legislation, and customer requirements
  • Investigate non-conformances, identify root causes, and implement robust corrective and preventative actions to drive a culture of continuous improvement
  • Manage site compliance systems, including iAuditor, producing insightful KPI reports, trend analysis, and compliance data to support business performance
  • Support customer, retailer, and third-party audits, ensuring the site remains audit-ready and consistently delivers outstanding audit results
  • Collaborate with Production, Engineering, QA, and Technical teams to improve factory standards, food safety, and operational compliance
  • Assist with customer complaint investigations, validation activities, and site improvement projects to enhance product quality and consumer confidence
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, external laboratories, certification bodies, and auditors to ensure effective communication and compliance delivery
  • Monitor changes in legislation, retailer expectations, and industry best practice, helping to strengthen site governance and technical standards

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience within a Compliance, QA, Technical, or Internal Audit role in food manufacturing, beverages, or FMCG
  • Strong knowledge of BRCGS, HACCP, retailer standards, food safety legislation, and quality management systems
  • Proven experience conducting internal audits, managing non-conformances, and driving corrective actions through root cause analysis
  • Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills, with confidence presenting KPI data and influencing stakeholders across the business
  • HACCP Level 3 qualified, with Internal Auditor certification or qualification considered a distinct advantage
