SENIOR COMPLIANCE SYSTEMS & PROJECT COORDINATOR – CONSTRUCTION

£45,000–£55,000 depending on experience

Are you an experienced construction or project professional who knows how to keep compliance systems, site documentation and busy project teams firmly under control?
We are recruiting a highly capable Senior Compliance Systems & Project Coordinator for an established construction-related business near Bishop’s Stortford.
Working closely and supporting the Director, you will take ownership of the systems, documentation and follow-up activity that support multiple live projects. This is a senior, visible role requiring confidence, accuracy and the determination to ensure actions are completed—not merely recorded.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Overseeing the SiteDocs compliance-management system
- Ensuring site forms, inspections and checklists are completed correctly and on time
- Monitoring outstanding site documentation and chasing project teams through to completion
- Managing SiteDocs user accounts, permissions and access
- Supporting users and providing guidance on the compliance system
- Producing compliance reports, dashboards and management information
- Maintaining accurate project schedules, databases and document records
- Organising, attending and chairing project and compliance meetings
- Preparing agendas, taking action-focused minutes and following up outcomes
- Coordinating on-site training bookings and maintaining training records
- Supporting airport-pass administration where required
- Producing reports and information for the Director and Board
- Assisting with bids, tenders and formal project submissions
- Managing email and calendar accounts
ABOUT YOU
We are particularly interested in candidates with:
- Experience using SiteDocs or comparable construction, compliance, EHS or document-management software
- Strong knowledge of construction or project compliance processes
- Experience monitoring site inspections, checklists, forms and supporting documentation
- Confidence managing system users, permissions and training
- The ability to chair meetings and hold people accountable for agreed actions
- Experience producing compliance reports, dashboards and trackers
- Strong Excel, database and reporting skills
- Excellent organisation and document-control experience
- A confident but diplomatic approach to chasing outstanding information
- The ability to work calmly across several live projects and competing deadlines
This role would suit an experienced Compliance Coordinator, Construction Administrator, Document Controller, Project Coordinator or Senior Project Administrator with excellent Admin support skills ready to take ownership of a business-critical compliance function.
