Composite Technician

The Composite Technician will be responsible for:
- Manufacturing, assembling and repairing composite components for prototype and development projects.
- Carrying out composite lay-up, trimming, fitting and bonding activities.
- Performing trackside and workshop composite repairs, including wet lay-up and moulding techniques.
- Working from plybooks, technical drawings and engineering specifications.
- Supporting vacuum bagging, curing and finishing processes.
- Collaborating with engineers and technicians to resolve manufacturing and quality issues.
The Composite Technician will have:
- At least 2 years' experience in composite manufacturing within automotive, motorsport, aerospace or a similar environment.
- Strong experience working with carbon fibre composite components.
- Experience with composite lay-up, trimming, fitting and finishing techniques.
- Knowledge of composite repair methods and low-volume manufacturing processes.
- Ability to read and interpret plybooks, engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Experience using hand and power tools associated with composite manufacture.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
