Our client, a leading provider of facilities services in the UK, is seeking a Concierge to join the Workplace Experience Team, providing a professional front of house service to customers, building users, and visitors.
This role is responsible for delivering a welcoming, professional, and efficient front of house experience while supporting the day-to-day operation of the reception area. The successful candidate will play a key role in creating a positive workplace environment for customers, visitors, and colleagues.
The position requires excellent customer service, communication, and organisational skills, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities within a confidential and professional environment. The Concierge will also support workplace experience initiatives and help maintain high standards across all front of house areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver a warm, professional, and welcoming service to customers, visitors, and colleagues.
- Act as the main point of contact for enquiries, requests, telephone calls, and general assistance.
- Manage the reception area, visitor registration process, access passes, meeting room bookings, and visitor arrivals.
- Ensure hosts are notified promptly and provide ongoing support to visitors during their time on site.
- Support meetings, events, room set-ups, and workplace experience activities, including those outside normal working hours when required.
- Build effective working relationships with Security, Engineering, Management, operational teams, suppliers, and customer groups.
- Conduct building checks and report faults, hazards, spillages, maintenance concerns, and other site issues in line with procedures.
- Maintain accurate visitor and booking systems, complete administrative tasks, and identify opportunities to improve customer experience and workplace standards.
Person Specification
- Experience of working in a high-profile environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work within a highly confidential environment.
- High level of Microsoft Office application knowledge and experience.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a Workplace Experience Team.
- Experience of working in public sector commercial environments is desirable.
- Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholder demands and associated time pressures.
- Previous experience in reception, customer service, and administration activities is preferred.
