Concrete Finisher (Plymouth) – Fulltime

An opportunity to work on our MOD project in Plymouth, delivering major redevelopment works over the coming years.

PAYE basis

Competitive rate depending on experience/qualifications
Paid Holidays: 30 days per year (including bank holidays)

Must Have:

• CSCS Blue Skilled Worker Card
• Level 2 NVQ Construction & Civil Engineering Operations (Concrete, Groundworks) or
• Level 2 NVQ in Construction Operations – General Construction
• Previous experience as a Concrete Finisher on major construction or infrastructure projects
• Experience with concrete finishing, levelling and surface treatments
• Ability to work from drawings and specifications
• Good understanding of Health & Safety procedures
• Reliable and proactive approach to work
• Ability to work safely within a live construction environment
• Must be eligible for BPSS Security Clearance
• Candidates must hold a passport from a NATO or MISWG member country and have resided in the UK for the past 5 years

This role is site based - Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out all aspects of concrete finishing to a high standard
• Finish concrete surfaces using hand and power tools
• Ensure work is completed to specification and quality requirements
• Assist with placing, levelling and curing concrete
• Work alongside site engineers and supervisors to achieve programme targets
• Maintain a clean and safe working area
• Follow all Health & Safety procedures and project requirements
• Support the successful delivery of major infrastructure works
