We are currently looking for an experienced Concrete Repairer to join a bridge repair project in Eastbourne.
📍 Location: Eastbourne
📅 Start Date: 21st September 2026
⏱️ Duration: Approximately 5-6 weeks
🏗️ Project: Bridge Repairs
The Role
The successful candidate will be working as part of a team carrying out concrete repair and maintenance works to a bridge structure.
The role will involve:
- Concrete repair works using hand tools
- Breaking out and preparing damaged concrete
- Carrying out concrete repairs to bridge structures
- Bearing replacement works
- Preparation and cleaning of concrete surfaces
- General remedial and structural repair works
- Following site drawings, specifications and instructions
- Working safely at all times and maintaining a clean and organised work area
- Working as part of a team to complete the works to a high standard
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who has previous experience in concrete repairs and structural/bridge repair works.
Experience with Balvac systems and bearing replacement would be highly advantageous.
You should be:
- Experienced in concrete repair
- Competent using hand tools
- Experienced working on bridges or similar structures
- Reliable and hardworking
- Able to work safely and efficiently as part of a team
- Available for the full 5-6 week duration
CSCS and relevant site qualifications required.
