Overview We are currently recruiting for experienced Groundworkers to join a civil engineering project based in Teesside. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and hardworking individual looking for ongoing work with a reputable contractor.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out all aspects of groundworks on a civil engineering site.
- Drainage installation and repairs.
- Excavation and trench work.
- Installation of ducting and utilities.
- Concrete works, foundations, and reinstatement.
- Kerbing, edging, and general civils duties.
- Working safely around existing underground services.
- Assisting plant operators and working as part of the site team.
- Maintaining high standards of health and safety on site.
- Valid CSCS Card.
- Valid CAT & Genny Qualification (essential).
- Previous experience in all aspects of groundworks on civil engineering projects.
- Experience working around underground services and utility installations.
- Ability to work from drawings and site plans is advantageous.
- Good understanding of health and safety procedures.
- Full PPE required.
- Relevant CPCS/NPORS tickets would be advantageous but are not essential.
- Competitive hourly rate.
