Job Title: Construction Lecturer - Brick Laying / Ellectrical Instilliations / Plumbing + Gas / Mulitskills

Location: Solihull

Start Date: ASAP

Salary: £25-£45

Full time – 37 hours per week (some work remote)

With proven track record in students going on to further education or full-time employment, the colleges of Leicester need your support to take the Motor Vehicle, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil engineering departments to new levels

If you have an ambitious vision for delivering high-standard apprenticeship programs, Contruction courses and/or a assessing the contruction students.

Colleges across the Solihull area are often seeking strong, experienced engineering staff to teach at various levels – Often level 1-3.

We are looking for an individual who has the passion and ability to impart their experience, skills, and knowledge to a caseload of engineering apprentices and students

The successful candidate will have:

Relevant Contruction Qualifications (Degree, Level 3 other recognise quals)

DBS (and on update service)

Great industry experience and knowledge (Crucial)

CAVA Level 3 Assessor Qualification

Knowledge of the Apprenticeship Standards and E-portfolio system (Smart Assessor) is beneficial.

Ideally hold or be prepared to work towards an Assessor and Verification award, e.g., TAQA, A1 or V1.

A minimum of Level 2 qualifications in Maths and English or equivalent.
