Construction Project Manager

An established and highly respected main contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to join its growing North West team.

With an excellent pipeline of secured work across the commercial, industrial and leisure sectors, this is an exciting opportunity to join a business with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects.

You'll take full responsibility as the No.1 Project Manager on projects typically valued between £8m and £15m, leading schemes from groundworks through to final handover, supported by an experienced site team.

As Project Manager, you'll be responsible for the successful delivery of projects from inception through to completion, ensuring they're delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Take full responsibility as the No.1 Project Manager on projects valued between £8m and £15m.
• Manage projects from groundworks through to final handover.
• Lead and manage the site team throughout the project lifecycle.
• Oversee and coordinate external design consultants to ensure design information is delivered in line with the construction programme.
• Develop, manage and drive the construction programme.
• Produce regular progress reports for senior management and clients.
• Manage project budgets, quality, risk and subcontractor performance.
• Build strong relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
• Ensure the highest standards of health, safety and quality are maintained throughout the project.

About You

To be considered, you must have:

• Proven experience as the No.1 Project Manager delivering projects valued between £8m and £15m.
• A track record of managing projects from groundworks through to final handover.
• Experience working for a reputable main contractor.
• Strong experience managing external design consultants.
• Excellent programme management and reporting skills.
• Outstanding leadership and stakeholder management abilities.
• A construction-related qualification is desirable.
