Contract Civil/Highways Design Engineer in London, Greater London

Location: London (fully remote option)
Rate: £35-£40 per hour
Contract: Outside IR35

An opportunity has arisen for a Contract Senior Civil Engineer to join an established consultancy, supporting a range of highways and development infrastructure projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Civil Engineer looking for a flexible, fully remote contract, with the engagement expected to be outside IR35.

The Role

• Delivering civil engineering design for highways and development infrastructure projects.
• Producing detailed designs for roads, drainage and associated infrastructure.
• Working on Section 278 and Section 38 highway schemes.
• Preparing technical drawings and design information using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Coordinating with other engineering disciplines and supporting the delivery of projects from design through to approval.

Requirements

• Experience working within a civil engineering consultancy.
• Strong knowledge of highways and development infrastructure design.
• Experience with Section 278 and Section 38 schemes.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• The ability to work independently and deliver designs to project deadlines.
