Contract Manager

Salary: £55,000 + company vehicle

Location: Cardiff (with travel to multiple locations across Wales)

Our client, a leading provider of integrated facilities management and infrastructure solutions is hiring for an experienced facilities management leader who thrives on building strong client relationships, leading high-performing teams and delivering exceptional services across a diverse estate? We're looking for a Contract Manager to oversee the delivery of soft FM services across a high-profile public sector contract covering multiple locations throughout Wales. This is an opportunity to make a visible impact, shape service excellence and lead a large operational team within a dynamic and rewarding environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of soft FM services across a multi-site estate, ensuring high standards of service and customer satisfaction.
• Provide leadership and direction to operational teams across multiple locations throughout Wales.
• Build trusted relationships with key client stakeholders and act as the primary point of contact for contract performance.
• Ensure contractual obligations, compliance requirements and service standards are consistently achieved.
• Support and develop Facilities Managers and Security Managers to drive team success.
• Monitor operational performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Drive commercially focused decision-making to support contract objectives and service delivery.
• Oversee services including cleaning, security, grounds maintenance, waste management and pest control.
• Travel regularly across Wales to engage with teams, stakeholders and sites.

Essential Skills and Requirements

• Experience leading facilities management operations within a complex environment.
• Strong contract management experience across multi-site portfolios.
• Proven ability to lead and inspire large operational teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management and client relationship building skills.
• Confidence to work independently and make informed decisions.
• Resilient leadership style with the ability to manage challenging situations professionally.
• Strong commercial awareness and a focus on delivering value.
• Experience within soft FM services, particularly cleaning operations, would be advantageous.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across Wales.
• Ability to obtain Welsh Government security clearance.
