Our client is seeking a proactive and commercially minded Contracts Manager to oversee multiple construction, refurbishment and maintenance projects across East Anglia. This is an excellent opportunity to join a company with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality commercial and residential projects, including refurbishment, fit-out, property maintenance and new build works.

The Role

As Contracts Manager, you will take responsibility for the successful delivery of several projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, within budget and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing multiple construction and refurbishment contracts from pre-start through to completion.
• Overseeing Site Managers, Supervisors and subcontractors.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants and suppliers.
• Monitoring project programmes, budgets and commercial performance.
• Ensuring projects comply with health & safety legislation and company procedures.
• Attending client meetings and site progress meetings.
• Managing project resources, procurement and programme delivery.
• Identifying and resolving project risks and challenges.
• Supporting the continued growth and development of the business.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Contracts Manager within the construction industry.
• Background delivering commercial refurbishment, maintenance, fit-out or new build projects.
• Excellent leadership and people management skills.
• Strong commercial awareness and contract management experience.
• Ability to manage multiple live projects.
• Good understanding of construction programmes and project planning.
• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid (preferred).
• Full UK Driving Licence.
