Conveyancing Paralegal

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Residential Conveyancing Paralegal to join our client’s established team in Milton Keynes. This is a full-time, permanent position, working Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, on a fully office-based basis.

You will be required to provide comprehensive legal and administrative support to Fee Earners and Solicitors within a busy conveyancing team

Key Responsibilities will include:-

• Supporting property transactions from instruction through to completion
• Opening and maintaining client files, completing ID checks and managing case records
• Submitting searches, Land Registry applications and mortgage redemptions
• Reviewing mortgage offers and search results
• Dealing with enquiries and keeping clients / stakeholders updated
• Preparing files for completion and assisting with financial administration
• Handling post-completion matters, including SDLT returns and Land Registry applications
• Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with relevant procedures and regulations

To be considered for the Residential Conveyancing Paralegal role you will have:-

• At least 6 months' experience as a Conveyancing Paralegal or in a similar role.
• Good understanding of the residential conveyancing process and property law.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively to tight deadlines
• Confident working independently while also contributing as part of a team.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.

In return, our client is offering a starting salary of up to £28,000 depending on experience, 33 days holiday including public holidays, contributory pension, onsite gym, office shutdown between Christmas and New Year and your birthday off.
