Cook in Dudley, West Midlands

• Week 1: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday - 12:00-17:00
• Week 2: Thursday, Friday - 12:00-17:00; Saturday, Sunday - 10:00-14:00

• Plan and cook varied, nutritious meals and snacks suitable for children and young people of different ages
• Follow individual dietary plans, allergies, cultural and religious requirements strictly
• Source, store, and rotate food stock; minimise waste and work within budget
• Maintain full compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations
• Keep kitchen, equipment, and dining areas clean, tidy, and sanitised
• Work as part of the team to provide a warm, welcoming environment for the young people
• Record menus, temperatures, and stock as required
• Support the home's values and safeguarding policies at all times

• Experience cooking in a catering, care, or school setting - essential
• Knowledge of food hygiene and safety (Level 2 or above preferred)
• Understanding of special diets, allergies, and nutritional needs
• Calm, reliable, and able to work independently
• Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
• Able to pass enhanced DBS check and relevant pre-employment clearances
• Flexible and happy to work the published rotating pattern
• to currently have a Enhanced DBS check or to be willing to undergo one.

• £13.70 per hour, paid via PAYE
