Corporate Finance Associate Director or Manager in Norwich

Corporate Finance Manager or Associate Director is required to join a leading national advisory firm in Norwich.

This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced corporate finance professional looking to take the next step in their career with a firm that has built an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality advisory services to owner-managed businesses, private equity investors and corporate clients across the UK. You will play a leading role in delivering a wide variety of transactions, working closely with senior leadership while enjoying significant exposure to clients, deal execution and business development activities.

The Role

As a key member of the Corporate Finance team, you will lead transactions on a day-to-day basis, taking ownership of critical workstreams and helping to drive deals from initial engagement through to successful completion.

Responsibilities will include:

• Managing corporate finance transactions and maintaining momentum against transaction timetables
• Working closely with Partners and Directors on a range of M&A and advisory assignments
• Preparing and reviewing business plans, financial forecasts and information memoranda
• Supporting clients throughout the transaction process and developing strong, trusted relationships
• Coordinating discussions with potential acquirers, investors and other stakeholders
• Assisting with business development initiatives, networking activities and pitch presentations
• Researching target companies, buyers and market opportunities
• Supervising, coaching and mentoring junior team members
• Ensuring compliance with risk management, regulatory and quality assurance procedures

About You

You will be ACA or ACCA qualified and possess a strong background within Corporate Finance, Transaction Services or Deal Advisory.

Experience within the following will be required

• Experience leading key elements of corporate finance transactions
• Exposure to M&A, company sales, acquisitions or private equity transactions
• Strong financial modelling and analytical skills
• Excellent commercial awareness and an understanding of what drives business value
• Proven client-facing experience and relationship-building skills
• The ability to produce high-quality reports, presentations and client deliverables
• Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• A proactive approach to problem solving and identifying opportunities
