Counterbalance Driver

Industrial Recruitment Services Ltd (IRS) are currently recruiting for an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join our client based in Aston, Birmingham. Our client is a well-established manufacturing and distribution company offering long-term opportunities within a busy warehouse and yard environment.

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join the team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for loading and unloading vehicles, moving stock safely around the site, and supporting the day-to-day warehouse operations.

Candidates must hold a valid, in-date external Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence and have previous experience operating a Counterbalance FLT within a busy working environment.

The Role:

• Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely
• Loading and unloading deliveries
• Moving stock around the warehouse and yard
• Storing materials in designated locations
• Assisting with goods-in and goods-out duties
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

Shift Pattern:

Monday to Friday

7:00am – 4:00pm

The Person:

• Valid, in-date external Counterbalance FLT licence essential
• Previous Counterbalance FLT experience required
• Reliable and hard-working attitude
• Good attention to detail
• Able to work within a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Strong awareness of health and safety procedures
