Our client based in Scunthorpe is a manufacturer of corrugated board, supplying customers throughout the UK.

They currently have several exciting opportunities for experienced Counterbalance Forklift Drivers to join their team as soon as possible!

The roles will be temporary initially but do have the potential to become permanent depending on performance.

The shifts are rotating, working:

6:00am - 2:00pm (Monday to Saturday)
2:00pm - 10:00pm (Monday to Friday)
10:00pm - 6:00am (Monday to Friday)

The pay rate is £13.00 per hour, with an increase available if you are offered a permanent contract (after 12 weeks).

This is a varied role that combines counterbalance forklift driving with production operative duties in a busy manufacturing environment.

Duties will include:

Operating a counterbalance forklift to safely move raw materials and finished goods
Loading and unloading deliveries
Supplying production lines with materials
Assisting with packing, stacking and palletising finished products
Supporting production operations as required
Carrying out quality checks on finished products
Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work area
Following all health & safety procedures and production targets

To be considered, you must hold a valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence. Previous experience operating a counterbalance truck within a manufacturing or production environment is preferred.

Please note, candidates will need their own transport to reach the site.
