Cover Supervisor in Harrogate, North Yorkshire

I am working exclusively with two large multi-academy trusts in Harrogate, that require two engaging Cover Supervisor for a role starting in October / November 2026. The role is to work within a secondary school setting in which work will be provided and you will use it to deliver the lesson.

The ideal Cover Supervisor will have an outgoing personality and will maintain a high standard of classroom management, in order to keep students on task. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience working in a school environment.

Responsibilities of the Cover Supervisor
*Supporting lessons across the ages 11 - 16;
*Demonstrate strong classroom management and cover teaching using available resources within the classroom;
*Promote and push the students to achieve the expectations set in the absence of the teacher.

To be considered for this position of Cover Supervisor you must have:
*Experience of group management of 4 -18 year olds;
*Excellent and proven behaviour management experience;
*Shown commitment to learning and development of pupils;
*Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with staff and students.
