Revolve Collective is recruiting Cover Supervisors interested in Birmingham secondary school opportunities.

Our school relationships include academies in Great Barr, Ladywood, the Jewellery Quarter and Alum Rock. Tell us which areas are practical for you so we can discuss opportunities within a realistic journey.

You’ll supervise lessons during teacher absence, explain the work provided and maintain a focused classroom. You’ll follow school behaviour procedures, record relevant information and leave useful feedback for the returning teacher.

Your presence sets the tone

Relevant experience includes:

• Leading or supervising groups of secondary-aged young people.

• Classroom support, tutoring, youth work, sports coaching or similar direct work with young people.

• Setting expectations, keeping a group engaged and responding to challenging behaviour.

• Clear communication and an understanding of safeguarding.

You’ll need confidence addressing a class and the ability to stay composed when pupils test boundaries.
