Elevation Recruitment Group is currently recruiting for a Crane / FLT Operator to join a well-established business within the steel and heavy engineering sector in Sheffield.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced operator with a background in heavy industry, steel processing or engineering, looking to join a busy manufacturing environment.

The Role:

• Operating overhead cranes and FLTs to move heavy materials safely around the site.

• Loading and unloading steel products, raw materials and finished goods.

• Supporting the movement of materials between production, storage and dispatch areas.

• Ensuring all materials are handled safely and efficiently.

• Following site health and safety procedures at all times.

• Supporting the wider production team with general duties as required.

What We're Looking For:

• Previous experience working within a steel, heavy engineering or heavy manufacturing environment is essential.

• Experience operating overhead cranes and FLTs.

• Valid, relevant crane and FLT licences.

• Confident handling heavy materials and steel products.

• A strong understanding of health and safety within an industrial environment.

• A reliable, safety-conscious approach with good timekeeping.
